Short Courses and Workshops

A number of short courses/workshops are planned to be organised in association with the International Congress on Fracture, Melbourne, Australia, 28 June to 2 July 2027.

The International Congress on Fracture emphasise the value of organizing short courses and workshops alongside their major conferences. These activities are intended to promote learning, collaboration, and active participation - particularly among graduate students and early-career researchers. Consistent with the mission of ICF, such initiatives should be delivered on a non-profit and goodwill basis.

Short Course Proposal Guidelines

Proposals for Short Courses (SC) or Workshops (WS) must be submitted to the ICF-16 Secretariat by email (icf16@deakin.edu.au) by 31 October 2026.

Each submission should include the following information:

All proposals will be reviewed by the conference committee, and applicants will be informed of the outcome by 15 December 2026.

All short courses will be conducted in person and are scheduled for Friday, 2 July 2027. Approved courses will be listed on the conference website, and participant registration (including payment) will be handled through the official ICF-16 platform.

Course chairpersons are responsible for coordinating with the Short Courses Conference Secretariat, which will provide organizational support.

Fees and Participation
