Student Awards 

Several Australian universities offer travel grants to undergraduate, doctoral and post-doctoral students for the purpose of conference registration and travel. Please refer to the university website of your respective institution to learn more. 

Early Career Best Paper Award   

ICF-16 will present awards for the 'Best Early Career Papers'

Four prizes will each receive AUD $500.00

Best paper award will be awarded to three of the most ‘Outstanding Papers’ from Early Career’ participants and will receive a prize of $500.00 each. For this award, early career researchers are termed as researchers who have been awarded their doctoral degrees (PhD or equivalent) within the past 10 years from 30 May 2027, i.e., those who has been awarded their doctoral degrees after 30 May 2017 will be deemed eligible for the award. The early career researcher must be the first author and present the paper at the conference. 

Student Best Paper Award 

ICF-16 will present awards for the 'Best Student Papers' 

One first prize (AUD $500.00)  

Two second prizes (each AUD $400.00) 

Three third prizes (each AUD $300.00) 

To be eligible for the award, the candidate must be enrolled at a university or academic institution as a student, the student must be the primary author (first author) in the full paper, and the paper must be presented at the congress by the student. The award will be decided by a review committee.
